I have been a professional baker for over 10 years with extensive experience in pastry, cakes, and breads. My unique flavor combinations and attention to detail (both to the event and pastries) has set me apart. Before your event, we will meet to discuss your vision and draw up an estimate. Included with Wedding Cakes is a complementary cupcake tasting of no more than 1-2 flavors of cake and buttercream. I only use the highest quality ingredients and do not use fondant. My philosophy is that specialty cakes are meant to be eaten. Therefore, they should be just as flavorful as they are beautiful. In order to accomplish this I keep the show cake small (no more than 2 tiers) with sheet cakes for the rest of the party to enjoy. She was exceptional and professional throughout the entire process -- from talking about our budget to planning a beautiful aesthetic to showing up on our wedding day to set up the dessert table. Right from our very first meeting, I knew we had picked the right person. Just above and beyond!. She even did a taste test with us, which was so fun to get us excited for the big day. We asked her to make 100+ cupcakes and a mini cake for the bride and groom. Everything came out beautifully. Alison took the time to place hand-cut strawberry hearts in the buttercream of each cupcake. Little touches like that are what make her work extra special.
